As someone who does art themselves: AI art as its place. Of course the fact they take it from artists without consent is bad but honestly it has it's uses. I do DnD sometimes as GM and I want my players to know what I mean when I talk about surtain things. So I generate art and make character pages using AI art. If I were to draw these myself it would take me an hour per drawing minimum and it would take me way too long to make a single quest. So AI art has its uses.
