These lawyers were dumb in so many ways. Did they hear about ChatGPT being AI and just assumed it was from Star Trek or some other future show? Because anyone who has paid attention even a little to what people are saying about the program, have proven repeatedly that it looks up real things and then fabricates fake answers meant to look similar to real things. But it's making up fake answers, is the point, and that's what it's designed to do -- to mimic the factual answers, while not necessarily providing actual facts.
