You’re way, way off with some of these 😂
Hair styling via AI? Chefs to be replaced with AI? Counsellors, teachers, healthcare and legal professionals too? Not a hope. Logic doesn’t understand nuance, doesn’t get what it means to be human.
The entire point of AI is twofold, and which side you’re on depends upon how wealthy you are: either it’s purpose is to serve us and work for us, freeing up our time, making commodities cheaper and more available, doing the bulk of the repetitive, unskilled, fatiguing dangerous work, or it’s a means to slash the cost of employing a human workforce so that your cost-to-profit ratio increases exponentially.
So long as there’s more of us than the billionaires, AI won’t be rendering most of us redundant just yet.
