I think you misunderstand the point of AI art. AI art is never going to be made for the sake it being art, to capture any emotions to express any meaning, the point of AI art is to provide a visual for a product. AI art is simply the automation of the labour required to create a visual. When a company needs a visual for a product, service or website they're going to use AI because they don't want to pay people because spending more time and money to create something goes against making a profit. Potentially, there'll still be a place for human artwork in the future for when people want a piece of art with meaning behind it, but aside from that, give up. Give up on any job that relies on your skills to produce art, because if you attempt to go into that industry now you will find it disappear before you, and the skills you were relying on for an income useless. Trying to become employed in anything based off of visual designs and art or even voice acting right now is like trying to become someone who spun, wove and sewed clothes in the year 1800, those skills are about to become worthless, maybe not to you and your personal enjoyment, but at least economically. I won't disagree with you if you think AI art isn't art because it doesn't have meaning, or human intent. But meaning was never why artists were hired. They were simply hired because the hirers needed something that looked someway, a visual. And now that they've got access to a cheaper, faster way of obtaining a visual, you and your skills as an artist, will be thrown away, just as the people who wove clothes before the industrial revolution were.
