I am just a single insignificant person in this whole drama, but I find it infinitely hilarious that around when the AI Art craze started is when I started learning how to draw. I'm still not as good as I want to be, but it's been almost a year now and I have definitely improved. I joined ArtFight this year (all done with paper and pencil, then with paint pens and alcohol markers, as I didn't buy my cheap drawing tablet til a few months ago) and I've been looking up a ton of tutorials on how to draw bodies and especially on how to animate, as simple animation was my goal as I have loved OC animatics for years. I have no intention of going into art as a career, but I lost a loved one a few years back and being able to better express myself and the characters that bring me joy has been really beneficial to my mental health. Hoping more people join me in making bad art from the heart lol
