About the argument that humans can't truly create anything new, so AI = human. Well...no.
I mean, yes, on paper, but it doesn't change the fact that AI, as of today, is dead awful for creating stuff, so it's obviously more complicated than that. I imagine it has to do with consciousness, or maybe our ability to be irrational and make associations that don't make sense (and yet, seen from the right angle, are genius...see the board game Dungeon Fighters for an example of what I mean).
Also, when it stands to writing, AI is lacking most of the traits that separate good authors from amazing ones (depth, nuance, subtext, etc).
