"According to AI researchers"... Anyone who works in a specific area always thinks what THEY do is more consequential than it is. Because that's their entire world, where all their attention is. The probably of AI being more than a a tool (that doesn't work half the time) for humans in less than 100 years is for the birds. It's sci-fi nonsense that has no rational basis.
