AI bros don't know that there are different types of AI in general. Someone was ranting on a tumblr post about "people against gen ai" being against robots and all when they got backlash for using gen ai. Boy, were they angry when i pointed out that one was Generative AI, made for "creation" while the other was Agentic AI for problem-solving. People already treat roombas and robots better than real people and actually accept them while gen AI gets scorn for stealing artwork to "create." They're not the same thing.
