Hi, you said you wanted to talk, so here I am. For context, I’m someone who was born with LCH (Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis), which made me extremely sick throughout most of my early years. The disease spread to my brain and started to damage it—particularly affecting my frontal lobe and motor cortex, or whichever part of the brain controls movement. Because of this, I was severely bullied and isolated when I was younger. But I was either too ignorant or just cognitively impaired (since my brain had been badly damaged) to fully understand what was happening. I tried to draw multiple times before, but I never improved because the teachers wouldn’t help me. I also tried following YouTube tutorials on how to draw, but they didn’t help. Fast forward to now—my brain is partly healed, and the disease is in remission. However, a lot of the damage is permanent. I have very shaky hands that get worse when I focus, but I still try to learn. I use AI, specifically Stable Diffusion, to give myself as much control over the output as possible. But don’t get me wrong: selling AI outputs or AI-generated pictures is wrong. For me, AI—specifically Stable Diffusion—is a necessity.
