If it's cheaper than human drivers, it will inevitably come. And that's not even a bad thing. I understand the sentiments in the comments, but I don't see a problem with automation in and of itself - the problem is that the additionally generated value is not given back to society. Yeah I know, it's obvious. But I still think it's better to focus on that issue directly, instead of just opposing automation (aka replacing human labor) as a concept itself.
