I challenge anyone to convince me, that AI will have any impact on physical labor jobs in the foreseeable future. There is currently, no technology that has the capacity to go out into a backyard in the middle of the night during a thunderstorm/assess storm damage to the power lines organize the machines/tools/equipment. Deconstruct/prepare the damaged equipment. Do the switching required to isolate the equipment and make it safe for the public. And replace the poles, wires, infrastructure etc necessary to make repairs. It’s just not possible and I see nothing in the foreseeable future that would indicate anyone is even thinking about it. I imagine this holds true for most complex physical infrastructure jobs.
