i guess the thing that will differ consciousness from bots are emotions. Emotions are heavily biology related with hormones etc. ofc they could be simulated by Ai but not unless the Ai has an algorithm programmed to simulate emotions and those emotions algorithm are limited by our own knowledge on human biology so it will hardly be like a fully conscious human.
