This reminds me of the fiasco with tv sets that do automatic motion-smoothing, making even classic films look like cheap garbage shot on videotape. That desire to push towards artificially robotic perfection, without any care at all for actual final quality being shown. I mean more is always better, right? So crank the filters up to eleventy, and smooth it until it looks like a cartoon.
