Hey Charlie, sorry to have a nuanced opinion:
"it takes talent to use camera" is not the best argument.
As a photographer, I see many talentless people know how to use camera on a daily basis.
Using it well is another story.
And I've seen established artists using AI do better work than non-artists using AI,
so it seems human talent can in fact be channelled into this medium,
Since then, me and some of us in the art community have developed more nuanced opinion on this subject.
And to remind, photography was dismissed as "art" when cameras were first invented.
