The problem with probabilities here is that they’re made up based on nothing. When I calculate the probability that a randomly chosen person from New York City has blue eyes, it will be based on data, so that has meaning. We have zero instances of AI destroying the world or not. We have no firm idea this is AI. I want us to be careful, but this discussion is based on a lot of assumptions that no-one has made any attempt to verify.
