This will most likely be bad. However, on a positive note, what could happen is AI replaces tons of jobs which eliminates most companies largest expense (payroll). It could also eliminate a lot of human error that costs businesses thousands or millions every year. With operating costs going down, businesses could lower prices, and essentially reverse inflation. There’s a lot more that goes into that best case scenario for there to be a reversal. However, the love of money is the root of all evil. Companies will just keep the additional profits and continue to raise prices, which will widen the gap between the rich and poor.
