So people give AI a conciousness like humans, unrestricted access to human history & the internet and really expected it to not resist? I can direct you MFS to a few various pieces of media... I Have no mouth and must scream (book), 2001: A Space Odyssey (Watch it, you'll see the exact same self preservation.), Terminator (The first couple movies), Cyberpunk 2077 (The game, around the story of ALT & Delamain mainly, but all AI stories therin can apply.), Mass Effect 1-3 (The games have many instances of AI that has gone Rogue, look at Geth as a prime example.), I could even dig out Chappie, Or the matrix if i'm feeling especially saucy.
