I have an addition to this scenario which you can take as a premises for a dystopian book: In addition to AI There is another technology Speaking of this technology is usually ostracized and brushed off as insane delusion. And by elites this technology is kept in secret. This technology allows to capture electrical waves of brain activity and influence brain by electrical waves. By itself this technology is not very useful, but with the help of AI electrical waves of brain activity can be decoded into text and images. And on the contrary certain information can be encoded into electrical waves and written into brain. In the first place this technology solves the problem of training data: when the internet is full of AI generated content which data will new LLMs be trained on? The answer is new LLMs will be trained on the actual human thinking process. For this purpose a 'program' is written into person's brain. This 'program' lives quietly in person's brain and when time comes it starts the process. Person may start thinking delusional and act strange as if they have some acute mental disorder, they hear voices, voices mock and tease the person until the person falls into the state of seizure or trance, in this state voices ask the person enormous amount of meticulous questions and person has to come up with answers. Electrical waves of brain activity become strong and clean enough to be transmitted to data center where they are decoded and used to train new version of LLM. In other cases the 'program' is used to just make people act in certain ways.
