AI art is also not innovative. In fact the old Dall-E 3x3s are more interesting than anything generated nowadays because those would do things so absurdly wrong that the "something inhuman made this" aspect of it was fascinating and actually produced stuff you never saw before, weird perversions of contortions things you were familiar with.
