A.i technology is just the extension and automation of what humans can already do, with the need of polish and deep understanding of the craft to make the robot work.
Not everyone can choose what they do on life, but all of them want to be creative and do things. you can argue that for this matter that you pay someone comissions, and that is true, but if things are like that, you can say that a.i is just a piracy software too.
I'm not an extremist tech guy, but like any other job, if you don't adapt and use the new tools on your line of work, you'll get fucked, and we're talking about an evolutionary thing that can't be fought without a revolution.
I really see value on the craft and deep understandings of art, and don't think that a.i would be capable of creating NEW and UNIQUE things by themselfs, without human hands behind it, but i could see in future artist gradually shifting into some "fuel machine" that give more food to the a.i.
