The whole deep fake, AI generation, and fair use situations all need to be brought forward in courts, probably all the way up to the Supreme Court. We need official precedents set before this technology gets too much further out of hand.
It started off affecting major movie stars, and now it's affecting internet personalities. The next step is people we personally know, and that's when marriages and relationships and reputations start getting tested and ruined for no reason.
