The issue is that this, like all other issues nowadays" is seen and approached like its black and white. To claim that anyone who can't do art is lazy is incorrect, and inflammatory. Ive been trying to build skills in artistry for over a decade, and Im still useless. I can trace, that's it. AI art is trained on unconsenting artists' work, and makes it harder for real humans to gain money and fame from their art. AI art, however, is accessible to people such as myself who dont have the skills or MONEY to do the art, or commission it. There are pros and cons for AI art, and just as many pros and cons for human art. To claim that one is objectively bad, and the other is objectively good is both wrong and inflammatory. There needs to be regulation with AI art, as with all AI, but this constant back and forth of who is evil and who isnt is just pathetic, misses the point of the issue, and isnt productive. Talk about what Regulation should be put in place, like small businesses should be able to use AI art and can voluntarily donate a % of their revenue to art foundations (that actually helps artists) for certain benefits, and lather businesses like riot, amazon, Google, etc can't use AI art, and must be able to cite the artists and provide evidence of real graphic designers and artists if they choose to use art. Thats a helpful, realistic, and meaningful idea. Stop trying to push a divide between people and fucking WORK TOGETHER TO SOLVE PROBLEMS INSTEAD OF BITCHING ENDLESSLY!
