If a majority of people are not working and have little to no money, which means housing prices will crash, which will lead to bank crashes and then economies will collapse. Which would cause a deep deep depression. The AI tech CEO's and companies might make a lot of money, but if there are less people to buy things then how do AI companies make money? Then there is the issue of civil unrest which could lead to a lot of violence. What's the point of putting millions of people out of work? This seems insane and very misguided on these AI tech bros, some of whom seem like adolescent boys.
