Okay, what you are describing is not 'boring.' If you were interested in a piece before realizing it was AI, the piece had merit. As much merit as an AI piece could have. I think AI art is boring for the most part because the generated images fundamentally lack creativity. Even on occasion when you have the 'thousand monkeys at typewriters' effect, it's still lacking. Fleeting interest in vaguely pretty but vacuous things is not uncommon in people, but one would be surprised how quick it can lose its luster.
