I think the major issue you only kind of touch on is that... There is nothing that's safe. The "go be a plumber or something-" quote? That applies to Asmon, too. It's the most "Leopards won't eat my face" line I've heard to date. Youtubers and Twitch streamers? They're artists, by objective definitions. They are creating works to elicit an emotional response, even if it's just escapist entertainment and nothing else. Let's Plays? Art. Video Essays? Art. Political commentary streams? Art. THAT'S the breadth that generative AI is threatening... Or trying to. Cause let's be honest, even when it looks okay, AI art does NOT look better than human art.
