I work in an insurance company. Those bean counters laid off bucket loads of workers once they implemented an "AI system" that assesses risk and processes requests. Usually and risk analyst or underwriter does this (laid off). After a few quarters of horrific losses, they're panicking. Brokers are tricking the system. All kinds of crap is being piled into the books and the bean counters have no real line of sight.
