I was having the same thinking about asking AI to write code for you. They own that code now. If they wanted to, OpenAI can reproduce your app exactly, or the LLM can be tricked by a competitor into spewing it up. The companies will give you a million assurances that things like that can't happen and they protect your privacy, but (1) they're lying, and (2) there are no regulations on AI to punish them if they misuse it.
