Looks like legal Darwin Awards for these 2 lawyers & law firm. AI is well know for the "hallucination" problem you mentioned. ChatGPT has had an info cuttoff date in 2021 or so -no chance of up to date. I've heard of terms like "specific performance" & "due diligence" - totally lacking by these lawyers. Lying to the Court is awful. So max penalty for the 2 lawyers! The law firm should pay fees to the Court, the opposing legal team, & their client. The law firm should be ordered to have procedures & oversight to stop a recurrence. The làw firm should be removed from the case. But, then I'm not a lawyer & haven't stayed at one of them hotels for many moons. .
