This kind of hyperbole is counterproductive. Job exposure to possible AI automation is a real issue, and one people need to be thinking about. But even the most dire prognostications about possible AI job usurpation say 40% (*perhaps* 60% but that's far from a the consensus) *may* have exposure to, or impacts in *some form* from, AI. That's a far cry from all but five jobs being gone. It's not even 40% of jobs being gone. That's not what they mean or what's being said. That said, it is a thing people need to be cognizant of and that societies and governments should be trying to plan around.
