The issue is that if we ban it only the oligarchs and world leaders will have access to it. What we need is laws that allow regular people to use ai to make money and not allow the rich to horde all the wealth. This is a legal and political issue. The ai could come in handy, but we all need access to it and the ability to profit from it. It is a "seizing of the means of production" scenario.
