I was just terminated from the education college where I was doing instructional design, for what I suspect casually was my hardline stance against automation in the material.
I fundamentally do not want to give up on technology or education. I remember growing up in the transition from web1.0 to 2.0 - the things you could do required elbow grease but damn well was worth it for the results. You actually gained skills and community.
Nowadays, that's no longer the case, all while the analog is not seemingly there to retreat to.
