At no point is it reasonable to take at face value someone who is the only one who understands what they are talking about.
The creators of AI try to scare us in order to make their product seem much more important than it actually is. They oversell the intelligence of their product to sell it for a higher price.
All of this is business, not science.
If you are afraid of Ai or LLM is because of your antropomorphism bias. And you are afraid of what you don't understand.
