This is dark, but when robots produce most of the gdp and economic value, and when most of trade is done by single ultra rich entities, what incentive will there be to keep human citizens alive? Think about it. You kill a couple million in a genocide and find the economy wasn’t impacted at all. Suddenly, it doesn’t seem so bad, and there’s no one really protesting because that’s who you killed anyway. And maybe you don’t even hear about it because of a strong AI powered censorship through video, media, and surveillance.
