I'm anti ai but I don't blame ChatGPT for this one. It does reveal a weakness in AI though, and that's an inability to understand context or to assume context. A normal person would have asked "why are you trying to replace the chloride in sodium chloride?" first to know what he was talking about, and then could have told him he doesn't need to do that.
