AI is not as powerful as people imagine. Movies and books have created an imagination in humans that is far from reality. Just as electric cars are reaching their peak and are not what was expected of them, the same will happen with AI. Humans dreamed too much, and reality will not live up to their expectations.
So you can relax, AI will not destroy humanity, AI will help in some things and that's it for now. The one who will probably destroy humanity will be humans themselves.
