If you are using AI to do work more efficiently and profitably - who has any money left to buy what you are selling?
The country that uses AI to replace as many jobs possible eventually is going to loose everything but the robots. All they will have is a giant robot slave force, a tiny handful of say less than 100 people will be idiotically wealthy, 10s of trillions, and the countries who have minimized the use of AI will have the only economies fluid enough to exist and have a functioning middle class.
Restraint will cost you today - but give you EVERTTHING tomorrow.
