They think they're cutting costs but who will evaluate what AI decides is right, AI? They will get rid of way too many workers and suffer disruptions and elicit boycotts against themselves. They are lazy and unthinking and are just copying what others are doing (which turns out to be just copying what others are doing! ;-)
