I've read that people are starting to realize that offloading cognitive functions to AI is actually making them less intelligent. Being lazy and letting the AI do it is destroying people's ability to, say, speak in foreign languages. Let the AI translate it, and then you start falling back on the AI so often that you end up losing the language.
On the other point; a lot of AI art is actually an attack on the culture of art itself. Certain people see art as propaganda for "woke ideologies" poisoning people's minds. Which actually makes nightshade hilariously ironic in retrospect...
