I am a software engineer, and in the past 2 months I've integrated AI into my workflow. It's amazing how much more efficient I've become BUT... and this is a large "but", it can't take my job. You see, this is the part that people don't necessarily understand, working with AI is like working with an incredibly intelligent human who occasionally has zero common sense. It forgets the context of the objective, it gets lost in it's own research, etc. This is not to say that it won't get better, because it will, but I suspect it's going to need a conductor for the foreseeable future.
