AI art is to me a lot like the steak in The Matrix. It looks like a steak, tastes like a steak, smells like a steak, and yet it isn't. We're getting to a point where we can't discern between 'fake' steak and 'real' steak, but the average person wouldn't mind that difference regardless (assuming you didn't tell them). That's the issue.
