Don't fear AI. Fear the people who know how to use it well. They will be the ones that turn the world upside down. Not the AI. These people will be the ones to steamroll the industries. AI works best with a human brain wielding it. The abstract thinking of the human brain and all the collected references that human has to sharpen and direct the AI "blade" and direct it in the right ways. And plumbers won't be immune. AI in the right hands can help develop better technologies to replace the antiquated tech that makes up the majority of the plumbing industry. Plumbers mostly solve problems related to the flaws and age of existing plumbing systems. AI can ensure those systems fail far less often and last for many many more years. Imagine a world where these AI users start fixing all the problems we've just accepted for the last 100 years as "just the way it is"? The gate keepers will lose their gates.
