Super intelligence in a starship, in the older shows it was just the ‚ computer’ but in a later show Discovery the super intelligence developed by the ship and a witnessing entity of all time (if I remember correctly) fused in 1 Intelligence that even gave itself a name, Zora . And what about Assimov’s Psychohistory a super intelligence that can calculate all options for the civilisation in a galaxy and predict various future outcomes….. sorry I think you give to little credit for what the human mind can imagine … plus, without such books and stories we would have not developed AI as fast … they truly are an inspiration for many… and a good predictor of what we could achieve… just hope we don‘t end controlled by Skynet, which is another good example of what superintelligence would do.. 😉
