I think the assumption of this video that people will keep on owning their cars is just wrong.
Why would you waste money on buying a car when you can cheaply summon a robot?
Also once all the cars are self-driving this will allow for a much more efficient passage of cars through roads because traffic jams are caused by humans (imagine hundreds of cars joining a train constellation on a highway while keeping half a meter distance between each other).
This will make cars behave like public transport without the downside of public transport.
