Humans are so reactive and I compare to teenage kids...They are willing to accept consequences because the desire for money exceeds the desire for safety...We will just wait till its a problem so that we can create a new vertical to monetize AI security. Similar to computers, we created computers and the internet before safety and access became an issue and thus created the online security vertical which is heavily monetized.
