The current "psychosis" of people has little to do with AI; it's the result of a lack of critical thinking. Surely, before, the level of critical thinking was perhaps similar, but now, as Eco said, any idiot can express himself "freely" and without "restraint" (social, of course) and that is why not only does this huge percentage of people appear in this "condition" (see the recent elections in Romania), but the "virus" is free now and has greater possibilities and means to... spread. Family and school no longer play a very important role in education; the predominant role now belongs to the internet and extracurricular friendship groups. And the lower a person's level of school education, the more defenseless they are in the current technological age.
