What i don't get about the hype or building towards removing humans from jobs is what the hell are these companies meant to do about getting money? Are we meant to go back to a serf style existence where we just do odd jobs for a tiny bit of food? How do we pay for electricity. What do the companies get when there is no income to shuffle around into each others pockets?
This is the problem of using money as a stacking collectible really. Older merchants would back in the day invest their earnings around them to not only make their life better but to add to the world in some sense. They would pay for roads to be built, construction on things like grain silos or theaters. Some would even buy an entire town and so on. But now we just have.. people stacking their money as high as possible, not building anything really that helps the area or even them self some times.
But yeah we should invest in AI and robots to replace workers so now they aren't even at least putting money back into the economy. Its weird.
