I can’t tell you how many students I see immediately pull out ChatGPT for open book tests that are assigned. They don’t at least read the question. Just straight copy and paste. I have seen it multiple times. All the time.
I think a lot of those kids got screwed though because the professors midterm and final were in person and on paper.
You can tell they tried everything to cheat because normally, they would sit in the front but during exams, everyone migrated to the back of the class.
