I’ve listened to both types of books audiobooks books, professionally read and AI read, and I prefer the professionally read audiobooks. One they do not pronounce words correctly such as a French word that when the book is spoken in English, like Agincourt. Inflection of the sentence, agitation of the character, etc. Then worse of all the producer of the AI generated audiobooks are not passing on the revenue generated to the author!
