AI, COMPUTERS, ROBOTS, DRIVERLESS are all examples of changes that all advance societies will needs to deal with. Looking back over last century, we no longer have phone switch operator's, manual works are being automated, and the next stage is automating by AI of intellect and non-manual works. I easily see robotic shop keepers, nurses, doctors, cleaners, care workers. When I was growing up and started work in mid seventies, we were sold that most of us would have more leisure time, instead it is now the norm in UK at least, both parents has to works, longer and longer hours. Companies taxes will have to greatly increase to replace the taxes that working people use to pay. A major problem for the UK government, that more and more of the population are now qualifying for top up benefits because double full time wages are no longer sufficient to cover living costs. Some wages are even lower than benefits, especially for those graduating with student debts.
