I understand the debate of dangerous AI and the potential for extreme wealth inequality, but I don't understand where people say "if I was given a UBI I would just sit around." I personally would be so happy to spend my time making art and helping people in my neighborhood to build and repair things that I could just not see myself sitting around in self-pity.
